When you start counting the number of people who reblog/like your status more than counting your istighfar(repentance), when you start competing with others to get more followers, when you start feeling sad or jealous if no one or little people respond to what you’re sharing, when you care more what people may think about you more than Allah, I’m afraid dear brothers & sisters you are about to make amal for this dunya, for the sake of others than Allah. Well that is a major thing you need to take care of.
“When you see someone who is not as religious, remember that you were once on the edge of the fire, and it was Allah (swt)’s favor upon you to guide you. Arrogance will wipe away any goodness from the transformation.”
Note to self, astaghfirullah al-azim.
